Devin Thompson
DPT / Physical Therapist
Devin Thompson, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping people move better, build strength, and return to the activities they enjoy. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences in 2020, with a concentration in Sports Strength and Conditioning. He previously graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New England with a degree in Applied Exercise Science.
A former four year, all conference collegiate basketball player, Devin understands firsthand the demands of training, competition, injury, and returning to sport. His background as an athlete continues to shape the way he approaches rehabilitation, particularly for patients who want to stay active, perform at a high level, or regain confidence in the activities that matter most to them.
Devin has experience across orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, post operative care, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation, pediatrics, and performance based physical therapy. He has worked with a wide range of patients, including active adults, older adults, high school and collegiate athletes, professional athletes, Division I competitors, and active duty military members.
His approach is individualized, goal driven, and patient centered. Rather than simply treating symptoms, Devin works to identify the factors contributing to pain, weakness, or movement limitations and builds a plan around each patient’s specific goals. Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, strength and conditioning, movement retraining, manual therapy, patient education, and dry needling, in which he is certified.
Outside of the clinic, Devin enjoys weight training and golf and continues to value the same active lifestyle he encourages in his patients.
Whether someone is recovering from an injury or surgery, managing a chronic condition, improving strength and mobility, or working toward a return to sport, Devin’s goal is simple: help people move better, get stronger, and get back to doing what they love.
